Our Team
Denice Seeger founded Distinctive Designs in 1996 following in her Grandma's footsteps. She studied floral design and Business Administration at Mt. Hood Community College and Southern Oregon University while working at the Portland Flower Market and small town flower shops. Denice is a special events designer, specializing in weddings and large and small scale event design. Known for her romantic creative designs and calm easygoing nature. When she is not designing she spends her time with her three boys, husband, and their beloved pooch Tucker, enjoying the outdoors, hiking, gardening, and dreaming.
Blythe Janssen has been in the event industry, professionally speaking, since 2006. However, her mother has been in the industry since 1988, so Blythe was a part of events starting at a very young age.
Blythe has worked as a coordinator, caterer, office/administrative manager, staffing manager and much more.
One of the things that Blythe loves most about the floral side of the event industry is how it combines beauty and organization all into one job. “We get to make the bride’s vision come to life and present her with her gorgeous bouquet the day of. Seeing everything come together the day of and adding the gorgeous floral and other decor elements gives me so much joy!”
Stacie Griffith has worked for Distinctive Designs for three years. She is the mama of a cute little girl and another one on the way here shortly. She can do anything from setting up the arbor to adding the finishing touches on the centerpieces. Stacie brings a calm presence to our office and we love working with her.
We also offer hands on workshops from intro to advance experience levels, there is something for everyone. Come join us for a wonderful fun filled class.
